Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients attending Studio Tally Reformer Pilates classes, purchasing memberships, class packs, products or using any services provided by Studio Tally Ltd.

By creating an account, booking a class, purchasing a membership or attending a Studio Tally class, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Studio Tally

Studio Tally Ltd is a boutique Reformer Pilates studio based at:

Studio Tally provides small group Reformer Pilates classes with a maximum of 8 clients per session.

2. Creating an Account & Booking Classes

All classes must be booked in advance through our booking system, TeamUp.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all personal information provided is accurate and up to date.

Before attending their first class, clients must complete all required forms, including:

Health Declaration / PAR-Q questionnaire
Client Waiver
Any other required Studio Tally policies or agreements

Studio Tally reserves the right to refuse participation if required forms have not been completed.

3. Payments

Payments for classes, memberships, class packs and products must be made at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Payments are processed securely through TeamUp using Stripe. Studio Tally does not store your full payment card details.

All prices are displayed in GBP (£).

Studio Tally reserves the right to change prices. Any price changes will be communicated before taking effect.

4. Memberships

Memberships provide access to Reformer Pilates classes according to the membership purchased.

Membership classes:

must be booked in advance
are subject to availability
cannot be exchanged for cash
cannot be transferred to another person

Unused classes expire at the end of the relevant membership period and do not roll over unless otherwise stated.

5. Founder Membership

Founder Membership is a limited launch offer available at an introductory rate of:

£128 every 4 weeks

Founder Membership includes:

8 Reformer Pilates classes every 4 weeks
Flexible booking of classes within the billing period
Small group classes with a maximum of 8 clients

Founder Membership requires a minimum commitment of 3 billing cycles.

After the initial minimum commitment, memberships continue on a rolling basis.

Members may cancel by providing 30 days’ notice.

Founder Membership credits expire at the end of each 4-week billing period and unused classes cannot be carried forward.

The Founder Membership rate applies while the membership remains active and payments remain up to date.

If a Founder Membership is cancelled, terminated or lapses, the founder rate may no longer be available.

Studio Tally reserves the right to review pricing in the future and will provide reasonable notice of any changes.

6. Class Packs

Class packs are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.

Classes must be used before the expiry date.

Unused classes cannot be refunded, exchanged, transferred or extended unless agreed by Studio Tally.

7. Cancellations & Late Cancellations

Due to our limited class capacity, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class start time.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time will be treated as a late cancellation.

Late cancellations and missed classes:

will not be refunded
will not be credited
cannot be transferred

For membership clients, the class credit will be deducted.

For class pack clients, the class will be deducted from the remaining credits.

8. Waitlist Policy

If a class is fully booked, clients may join the waitlist through TeamUp.

If a space becomes available, clients on the waitlist may be automatically added to the class.

Clients are responsible for removing themselves from the waitlist if they no longer wish to attend.

If you remain on the waitlist and are automatically added to the class, the standard cancellation policy applies.

Failure to attend a class after being moved from the waitlist will be treated as a missed class and will not be refunded, credited or transferred.

9. Late Arrival Policy

Clients must arrive before the scheduled class start time.

For safety reasons, clients arriving 3 minutes or more after the class start time will not be permitted to participate.

This allows all clients to complete the required warm-up, equipment setup and safety instructions before beginning the class.

Late arrivals may increase the risk of injury and can disrupt the experience of other clients.

If you arrive after the permitted arrival time, your class will be treated as a missed class and will not be refunded, credited or transferred.

10. Grip Socks Policy

Grip socks must be worn during all Reformer Pilates classes.

This is required for safety, hygiene and appropriate use of the Reformer equipment.

Clients arriving without suitable grip socks will not be permitted to participate.

If available, Studio Tally grip socks may be purchased from the studio.

Failure to attend due to not having appropriate grip socks will be treated as a missed class and will not be refunded, credited or transferred.

11. Referral Policy

Studio Tally may offer a referral programme under which an eligible existing client can receive £[X] Studio Tally credit when they refer a new client.

To be eligible to make a referral and receive referral credit, the referring client must either:

have previously attended at least one Studio Tally Reformer Pilates class; or
be an active Studio Tally member.

A client who has created an account or booked their first class but has not yet attended a Studio Tally class, and who is not an active member, is not eligible to make a referral.

A referral must relate to a genuinely new client who has not previously attended a Studio Tally class.

The referral must be made before the new client attends their first class and must be submitted using the referral method provided by Studio Tally.

Referral credit is only awarded to the referring client after the referred client has attended their first Studio Tally class.

The referred client does not receive referral credit or any other referral reward unless Studio Tally expressly states otherwise as part of a specific promotion.

Studio Tally checks referrals before applying any credit to an account. Referral credit will not be issued where Studio Tally determines that the referral does not meet the requirements of this policy.

A client cannot refer themselves, create or use another account to generate referral credit, or refer another person in circumstances where both clients are effectively using the referral programme to receive credit for their own first class.

In particular, a new client who has not yet attended a Studio Tally class cannot book their first class and then refer another person to that same class, or to a class that they will also attend as their own first class, in order to qualify for referral credit.

Referral credit is issued at Studio Tally's discretion once the eligibility requirements have been verified and the referred client has attended their first class.

Referral credit:

has no cash value
cannot be exchanged for cash
cannot be transferred to another client
cannot be refunded
may only be used in accordance with any conditions communicated by Studio Tally

Studio Tally reserves the right to refuse, remove or reverse referral credit where a referral is found to be invalid, fraudulent, self-referred, duplicated or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the referral programme.

Studio Tally may amend, suspend or withdraw the referral programme at any time.

12. Gift Card & Merchandise Terms & Conditions

Gift Cards

Studio Tally gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before the expiry date.
The gift card expiry date applies to the redemption of the gift card, not to the subsequent use of any class, class pack, membership or merchandise purchased using the gift card.
Gift cards can be redeemed against Studio Tally Reformer Pilates classes, class packs, memberships and merchandise, subject to availability and the applicable terms of the product purchased.
Where a gift card is used to purchase a class or class pack, the usual Studio Tally booking, cancellation and validity terms for that class or class pack will apply. For example, if a class pack has a specified validity period, that validity period begins in accordance with the normal terms of that class pack and is not extended by the use of a gift card.
Where a gift card is used towards a membership, the usual membership terms, including the applicable billing period, minimum commitment and cancellation terms, will apply.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase another gift card and are non-refundable.
If the value of your purchase is greater than the gift card balance, the remaining amount can be paid using another available payment method.
Any remaining gift card balance must be used before the gift card expiry date and cannot be extended.
Gift cards are non-transferable and should be kept safe. Studio Tally cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or unauthorised use of gift cards.

Studio Tally Grip Socks

Studio Tally grip socks purchased online are available for collection from Studio Tally and are not delivered.
Please check your socks when collecting them and contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have received an incorrect or faulty item.
For online purchases, customers have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law. If you change your mind about an online sock purchase, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the socks have not been worn or used. You must then return the goods within the applicable statutory period.
For hygiene reasons, socks that have been worn or used cannot be returned because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Any approved refund will normally be made using the original payment method.
Studio Tally does not offer voluntary exchanges or returns outside your statutory consumer rights.

General

Gift cards and merchandise purchases are subject to Studio Tally's general Terms & Conditions and applicable policies.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Studio Tally reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where necessary, provided that any changes do not affect rights already established under an existing purchase.

13. Health & Safety

Reformer Pilates is a form of physical exercise and carries a risk of injury.

Clients must complete the required health questionnaire before attending their first class.

Clients are responsible for informing Studio Tally of:

injuries
medical conditions
pregnancy or postnatal considerations
recent surgery
changes to health
any other factors that may affect safe participation

Studio Tally instructors are not medical professionals and classes do not replace medical advice.

Clients should seek appropriate medical advice if they are unsure whether Reformer Pilates is suitable for them.

14. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Follow instructor guidance and safety instructions
Use equipment correctly and responsibly
Inform the instructor of any pain, discomfort or concerns during class
Work within their own abilities
Respect instructors, staff and other clients
Wear appropriate clothing and required grip socks

Studio Tally reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a client where behaviour affects safety, comfort or the experience of others.

15. Reformer Equipment

Clients must use Reformer equipment only as instructed.

Clients must not adjust or use equipment in a way that may create a safety risk.

Any damage caused through deliberate misuse or failure to follow instructions may result in liability for repair costs.

16. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their own belongings while attending Studio Tally.

Studio Tally accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

17. Photography & Marketing

Studio Tally may occasionally take photographs or videos within the studio for marketing purposes.

Clients will only be included in identifiable photography or filming where appropriate consent has been provided.

18. Refunds

All purchases including memberships, class packs, individual classes, gift cards and merchandise are non-refundable unless required by law.

If Studio Tally needs to cancel a class, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative class, credit or appropriate solution.

19. Privacy

Studio Tally processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This includes personal information and health information collected through bookings, forms and questionnaires.

Our Privacy Policy is available on our website.

20. Changes to These Terms

Studio Tally reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
